Eat The Word |
Notes on eating the Word. |
He’s giving me a new imagination. He’s healing my creativity so that I can see myself whole in him. Upright and strong in him. Walking with him, receiving the promises. They are manna cascading from the clouds like flakes of love landing on my tongue.
I assault my fears with my new imagination for strength in Christ – he in whom all things are possible. I battle all rejection with the unfolding, constantly emerging scene of Christ in the river, the Dove pouring over him, his Father heralding him – this is my Son who I love, I’m so pleased with him. I receive that same affirmation as Jesus utters the words that as the Father has loved him so he loves me.*
I am using my imagination to see the realer realities. Fantasy is fading and horrors are evaporating as I believe freshly with new faith in the promises of the Son of God. I am his and he is mine.
